If anyone could PLEASE tell me the title/author of this children’s book, I would be forever in your debt. I would love to purchase this for my Race, Class, Gender, and Sexuality professor as a gift. :)

“Because even if it breaks your heart to be ‘just friends’, if you really care about someone, you’ll take the hit.” ~Zach Braff as John ‘J.D.’ Dorian

“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.” ~Marcus Aurelius

A wonderful poem…

Location, Location, Location

by Gabriel Gadfly

I could have kissed you
under cherry blossoms,
pale petals drifting down
like the trees wanted to
pretend they could be
snowclouds.

I could have kissed you
in the rain, drenched to
our bones and not even
caring that the skies
opened up above us
and tried to wash us out.

I could have kissed you
in a clearing in the most
secluded woods, with
just the sound of wind
rustling through the leaves
and a few voyeuristic
finches peeping at us.

Instead, I kissed you
in the parking lot of a
Waffle House, just shy
of 2 a.m. in the middle
of a hectic week, with
our waitress grinning
at us from the other
side of the window,
because, honestly,
how could I not?

Great message. This song brought me to tears. <3

I laughed.

Things I Have Learned...

A great list of things that one should keep in mind throughout their lives.

Pages went missing???

So I had a few pages on my blog, but now they’re mysteriously missing. Can anyone else help me answer this since there’s nothing in the FAQ about it?

UPDATE:

They’re back… yay!

I recieved this message on facebook about a minute ago. I can’t even begin to say how disgusted I am with the ignorance of some people. It’s one thing to have a problem with someone’s relationship, but it’s a whole other thing to tell me how disgusting I am and tell me I am going to hell. It also frustrates me that she automatically calls me a lesbian because I have a girlfriend. I’m not even a lesbian, but that’s the least of my frusteration with this message. I really hate everything right now. I’m going to bed. fuck this.

The ignorance of this stupid bitch. You and Corinne are beautiful, she can shove it. Fucking hell.

wow I wish people would pull their heads out of their asses. It is fucking disgusting that someone would say something like that to someone. Fuck.

..wow

I really hope the person who said all this stuff doesn’t call themselves a Christian. This is just wrong. We’re supposed to love one another, no hate! PLUS nobody can say that someone else is going to go to hell! That’s God’s decision, not ours. We are not to judge others because in the end, on “judgment day” it won’t be us doing the judging. It’ll be God. What we, as people, think doesn’t matter. It only matters what God thinks.

I am so proud of Jasmine.
Lesbian or not, love is love is love. I think Amy needs to learn how to do this.

Wow, just wow. Didn’t know people had the balls to say these kids of hateful things to people. Some people just need to get over themselves.

This is not a joke… but I find it absolutely hilarious.

Is Obama ready to support gay marriage?

Who knows? I wish he would just “come out” with it already…
